Per the friendly request of Drake, Grammy-winning singer Yebba has officially released her song “Waterfall (I Adore You).”
The rap juggernaut sampled it on his song “Polar Opposites,” the final track on his latest album, For All The Dogs.
In an Instagram Stories post, he playfully demanded Yebba to drop the song. “@yebbasmith drop the full song from end of ‘Polar Opposites,” he wrote. “This is not a request it’s a demand.”
Yebba replied via Stories, “Drake said it so we must.”

Yebba co-produced “Waterfall (I Adore You)” with John Rooney. Over soothing instrumentation, the West Memphis, Arkansas, native softly croons about being deeply enamored with her significant other.
“Mirrors break, they multiply / F**k what they say / These feelings don’t subside / Obsessions fade over time / But what remains, love is whatever we make it tonight,” she sings.
“Waterfall (I Adore You)” arrives with an alternate version featuring R&B newcomer and songwriter Sweata.
He appears in the third verse, singing, “My heart is in need of some solace / So take your time with me / I’d do anything for tender hearted.”
“Waterfall (I Adore You)” is Yebba’s first taste of new music since her 2022 EP, Live at Electric Lady. The five-track set featured live renditions of songs from Yebba’s 2021 debut album, Dawn.
Dawn was released Sept. 10, 2021, and it includes features from A$AP Rocky (“Far Away”) and Smino (“Louie Bag”).
